Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Kabs. I’m a tattoo artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, and for me, tattooing is more than just a job. It’s my way of creating, connecting, and expressing stories through art. Every person who sits in my chair has their own reason for getting tattooed, and I take pride in turning those ideas into something meaningful that lasts a lifetime.

I’ve always been into art. Before I ever touched a tattoo machine, I spent hours sketching, painting, and playing around with different styles. Once I started tattooing, it just made sense. It was the perfect mix of art, discipline, and personal connection.

My favorite subjects to tattoo are Anime, Japanese-inspired designs, painterly portraits, and landscapes. I love the challenge and creativity that come with those styles. The bold colors, the emotion, the storytelling — that’s what keeps me inspired. I’m all about making custom pieces that fit each client perfectly. No copy and paste work, no shortcuts, just art that’s made for you.

I put a lot of focus into the details and quality of my tattoos because I want them to hold up and look good for years. Every tattoo I do means something to me, whether it’s a big project or a smaller, personal piece.

Outside the studio, I’m usually still drawing, watching anime, or finding inspiration in the world around me. Art is just part of who I am. It never really stops.
