Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but yes — getting a tattoo involves some level of discomfort. The feeling is often compared to a scratch or a hot, stinging sensation. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, but we’ll always do our best to make you as comfortable as possible.

Come well-rested, hydrated, and have a good meal before your session. Avoid alcohol and blood thinners (like aspirin) for at least 24 hours prior. Wear comfortable clothing and make sure the area being tattooed is clean and free of lotions or oils.

Initial healing typically takes 2–3 weeks, but full healing can take up to 6 weeks depending on the size and placement. It’s important to follow the aftercare instructions we provide to avoid infections and ensure the best result.

Of course — moral support is always welcome! That said, space in the studio may be limited, so we ask that you bring only one guest and they remain respectful of the workspace.

All tattoos experience some natural fading over the years, but how much depends on aftercare, sun exposure, skin type, and ink quality. Keeping your tattoo moisturized and protected from the sun will help it stay bold and crisp for years.
